Running the AI Agent on a schedule
Last updated: September 3, 2026
Agent schedules let the agent run without you in the chat. You describe the job once, choose when it runs, and it works in the background and delivers the result.
What it is for
Anything you would otherwise have to remember to ask every Monday. For example:
“Every Monday at 09:00, send me a Slack recap of which campaigns performed best last week.”
“Every morning, flag new replies that look like buying intent.”
“On the first of the month, pull last month’s sequence analytics.”
Setting one up
Describe the task the way you would in a normal chat, then say when it should run. A schedule can run once at a set time, or repeat on a cadence you choose.
Where the result goes
Slack. The agent posts the result to a Slack channel when the run finishes. This needs the Slack integration connected. See 📄 Slack Integration.
Nowhere. The run happens quietly and the result waits for you in the agent.
What a scheduled run can do
The same as the agent anywhere else. A scheduled run gets the full feature set: analytics, CRM data, sequences, notifications, plus your skills and your agent memory. Whether you launch the agent from Slack, from the app, or from a schedule, it is the same agent underneath.
