Can I link HubSpot segments to Topo?

Last updated: June 5, 2026

Context

You may want to use your existing HubSpot segments as inclusion lists in Topo — to define which contacts or companies to target in your outbound sequences.

Answer

Yes. You can now import HubSpot segments directly into Topo as inclusion lists. The feature is available for both contact and company lists, and supports static and dynamic HubSpot lists.

How to import a HubSpot list

  1. Go to Settings > Lists.

  2. Click New List — either Create company list or Create contact list.

  3. Select the Import from HubSpot tab. This tab only appears if your HubSpot integration is connected.

  4. Browse and select the list you want to import.

  5. Click Create list. Topo creates the list and syncs members in the background.

Static vs. dynamic lists

Static lists do not sync automatically. Use the manual Refresh button on the list to pull in new members when needed.

Dynamic lists sync automatically every hour in the background. You can pause or resume syncing from the list's action menu at any time. An external link lets you view the original list in HubSpot directly.

Using the list in a lead search

Once imported, your HubSpot list is available in Topo as a standard list. To scope a lead search to it, start a new lead search and select the list as an input.

Note: this is currently only supported with the lead database provider — it cannot yet be used to scope searches from other providers.

What happens if you disconnect HubSpot

  • If you deactivate the integration, all HubSpot list syncing pauses. Reactivating it resumes syncing.

  • If you delete the integration and connect a new one, imported lists break and become standard (non-synced) lists. You will need to re-import them.
