Does refusing a contact in a Co-Pilot sequence exclude them from other sequences?
Last updated: June 25, 2026
Context
When managing multiple Co-Pilot sequences in Topo, you may encounter contacts that are suitable for one sequence but not another.
In these situations, you may want to refuse a contact from a specific sequence while keeping them eligible for other sequences that might be more relevant to their profile.
Answer
No, the "Refuse" button is sequence-specific. When you refuse a contact in one Co-Pilot sequence, that person will only be excluded from that particular sequence. They will remain eligible to be enrolled in other active sequences.
How to refuse a contact: To stop outreach to a contact in Copilot mode, go to Tasks → New Leads, find the contact, and choose Refuse.
This means you can safely refuse contacts from sequences where they aren't a good fit, while still allowing them to potentially appear in other sequences that may be more suitable for their profile or business needs.
