Lead Search Filters

Use this article when a customer asks: "What's the best way to build a search targeting a certain persona?"
This article lists every filter available in Lead Search, at both account and contact level.
How the filter panel works
Filters sit in two groups, Contact and Company. Each group shows the most used filters first. Click View more to see the rest, or type in Search a filter to jump straight to one.
At the top, switch between People and Companies, and pick one of your audiences from the Audience dropdown to apply its filters.
Include and exclude in the same filter. There are no separate "Exclude" filters. Open a filter and, next to each value, click the green tick to include it or the red exclusion icon to exclude it. Included values show as blue chips, excluded values as red chips.
Ranges. Number filters such as company size, funding or headcount growth use one range control. Set a min, a max, or both.
The search updates on its own when you apply a value, not while you're typing. AI Qualifications, at the bottom of the panel, are the exception: click Qualify to run them.
Company filters
Acquisition Status
Category: Company
Input type: Dropdown (multi-select)
Filter by company acquisition status. Values come from the acquisition statuses list.
Company Domains
Category: Company
Input type: Free text (multi-value)
Search for companies by their website domain (e.g. acme.com). Enter one or more domains.
Company Keywords
Category: Company
Input type: Free text (multi-value)
Search for keywords in company descriptions. Useful for targeting companies with specific business focus or products.
Company Names
Category: Company
Input type: Free text (multi-value)
Filter by current employer company name. Supports partial matching.
Company Size
Category: Company
Input type: Number range (min-max, e.g. 50-200)
Filter by company headcount range.
Company Types
Category: Company
Input type: Dropdown (multi-select)
Filter by company type.
Options: public, private, nonprofit, partnership, government, and others
Exact Company Name
Category: Company
Input type: Free text (strict match)
Filter by exact current employer company name. Only returns results with a precise match.
Account Lists
Category: Company
Input type: Dropdown (multi-select)
Search within specific account lists. Select one or more of your saved account lists to restrict results to companies in those lists. This includes account CSV files you uploaded.
Funding Stage
Category: Company
Input type: Dropdown (multi-select)
Filter companies by their latest funding stage. Values come from the funding stages list.
Headcount by department
Category: Company
Input type: Department, then a range
Target companies by the size of a team. Pick one or more departments, then set a min and max headcount for each.
HQ Countries
Category: Company
Input type: Dropdown (multi-select, ISO country codes)
Filter companies by headquarters country.
HQ States
Category: Company
Input type: Dropdown (multi-select)
Filter companies by headquarters state.
Industry
Category: Company
Input type: Dropdown (searchable, multi-select)
Filter companies by industry. Values come from the standard industries list.
Largest Headcount Countries
Category: Company
Input type: Dropdown (multi-select, ISO country codes)
Filter by countries where the company has the most employees.
Markets
Category: Company
Input type: Free text (multi-value)
Filter by market segment or vertical. Distinct from the Industry filter — use this for more granular targeting (e.g. "B2B SaaS", "fintech").
Revenue

Annual company revenue in USD. Set a min, a max, or both.
Funding (USD)
Category: Company
Input type: Range (USD)
Total funding raised in USD.
Monthly Visitors
Category: Company

Monthly website visitors.
Year Founded

The year the company was founded.
Headcount Growth

How fast the company's headcount is growing. Use to target companies that are growing or contracting.
Followers Growth (6M)

Exact Job Titles

Search for exact match on job titles only. Use when you need precise title targeting rather than keyword matching.
Field of Study

Search for people with any of these job titles. Uses "contains" logic — if you enter "CFO" it will only find people with "CFO" in their job title, not "Chief Financial Officer". Add each variation separately for comprehensive results. You can click on a job title and select "generate more" to have the AI generate similar titles.
