Why is my AI filter showing an error?

When adding an AI filter in the lead search interface, you may see a red error message with an explanation and a suggested alternative.

Answer

This is Topo’s filter validation in action. When you add an AI filter, Topo checks whether it can find data on the internet for the condition you described. If it can’t — for example, because the information is behind a login or paywall (such as LinkedIn activity data) — it flags this and suggests an alternative approach.

What to do

• Follow the suggestion shown — it will point you toward a filter or approach that will give better results.

• Or click “Use this filter anyway” if you still want to apply it. Results may be limited or inaccurate for filters that cannot be validated.
