Configure how Topo notifies you about hot leads, replies, and workspace issues requiring action.


Slack Notifications

1. Connect Slack

Settings → Integrations → Connect Slack. You need to be a Slack admin. If you're not, invite an admin to Topo temporarily to complete the setup.

2. Enable notifications

Settings → Notification Settings → check the Chat box to enable Slack notifications for hot leads and replies.

3. Set up the channel

Create a public Slack channel (e.g. #topo-leads). You must be the owner of the channel for it to appear in the dropdown. Select it in Topo. If the channel doesn't appear, type /invite @topo in the Slack channel first, then refresh.

Common issues

  • Can't connect Slack — you're likely not a Slack admin. Invite an admin to Topo temporarily.

  • Channel not visible — only public channels appear. Make sure the channel is public and you're the owner.

  • Not receiving notifications — check that the "Chat" box is checked in Notification Settings.


Email Notifications

Settings → Notification Settings → check the Email box. Select which events to be notified about: new replies, hot leads, and/or clicks. Make sure your email is up to date in your profile settings.

You can combine Slack and email notifications — any combination works.


Alerts

Alerts notify you when something in your Topo workspace requires action — for example: the agent can no longer find new leads and moves to Finishing state, or a LinkedIn profile gets disconnected and needs to be reconnected. Act on alerts promptly to avoid campaign interruptions.
