Making a call from Tasks
Last updated: October 12, 2026
When a lead reaches a Call step in a sequence, a call task appears in the Calls tab of the Tasks page. Use the Callable now pill to see only the leads you can call right now. The task shows the lead's phone number with their local time, and Quick Icebreakers to help you open the conversation.
Icebreakers are organised into four sections:
Company (company-level signals),
Person (contact-level signals),
Sequence (where the lead is in the sequence),
Unique insight (AI-generated from additional signals ).
To make the call
Click the lead's phone number. Your computer's dialler opens with the number filled in.
After the call
Action | Shortcut | What it does |
|---|---|---|
Log call | ⌘ Enter | Records the call. Use the arrow next to it to pick the outcome. |
Archive | E | Clears the task without logging a call. |
Snooze | S | Hides the task for now. It comes back later. |
Recording the call outcome
Click the arrow next to Log call and pick what happened: No Answer, Voicemail Left, Interested, Not interested or Wrong number.
If you have a reminder rule set for unanswered or voicemail calls, the task will reopen automatically after the configured duration.
Leads without a phone number skip the Call step automatically — no task is created for them.
