Understanding the Accounts page
Last updated: August 31, 2026
The Accounts page is the company-level view of your workspace. Where Contacts lists people, Accounts lists the businesses those people work at.
What you will find there
You do not have to build anything to get started. The page arrives already populated with every company you have at least one contact at, so the first time you open it your existing data is already there.
Each row is a company. The columns cover the firmographic detail Topo holds on it, such as name, website, industry, headcount and location, plus how many contacts you have there.
Acting on accounts
Select one or more companies with the checkboxes and an action bar appears at the bottom of the page:
Assign to — give the accounts to a teammate so ownership is clear
Add to list — group them into an account list you can reuse
Export — download the selected companies as a .csv
What the page does not do
There is no button on an account row that finds new contacts at that company. That workflow starts from a lead search instead. See How do I find leads at companies I already have? for the two ways to do it.
